New Smart System establishes operation in Poland and hires Dr. Matusiak

Denmark, September 2008

New Smart System of Denmark has established operation in Poznan area of Poland in order to facilitate international sales department, research and development and manufacturing of sound systems.

Dr. Matusiak has been hired to lead developments of new technologies within transducers and also to develop new audio systems. Dr. Matusiak is doctor in acoustics from Wroclaw University and has participated in a number of AES lectures and co-writer of three patents, including patent covering new diaphragm type from bio cellulose providing extended frequency response exceeding 42 kHz.

Anders Christensen, president of New Smart System states: “The establishment of New Smart System Polska Sp. Z. o. o. and hiring of Dr. Matusiak is our first step to establish strong presence in Poland and use that as base for further expansion. We have outlined a detailed plan involving a number of developments of products and markets, and look forward to become an important part of the audio community.”
